Today , 14/12/23 , at the Shah Alam High Court, the MIC Legal Aid team headed by YBhg Datuk R.T.Rajasekaran,Secretary General of MIC assisted 21 accused earlier under the Sosma Act, as instructed by MIC President, Tan Sri SA Vigneswaran, free of any fees.
All the accused today pleaded guilty to a lesser charge, Section 103W of the Penal Code & the MIC Legal Aid team were able to mitigate their sentences to 2 years & 10 months from the date of arrest. The learned High Court Judge, Justice Mr. HASBULLAH BIN ADAM presided over the case.
