The past few days have been one which is sorrowful to the Malaysian Indian Congress, the Indian community and the nation as a whole as we mourn the loss of a great statesman, a leader, a father, a legend, Tun Samy Vellu.
We are grateful to be able to welcome everyone who came to pay their last respects to Tun from all walks of life, regardless of race and age. This legacy of Tun will be cherished by generations to come. Thank you Tun for your numerous contributions and inspiring leadership, you truly have been a father-figure to us all.
