KUALA LUMPUR, May 9: The Federal Territory MIC have taken initiatives to distribute face masks for the public at key areas of the nation’s capital city.
“Many among the public are still unaware on the importance of wearing face masks to curb the spread of the Covid-19 pandemic. We aim to raise their awareness on this while distributing the free face masks,” says Datuk S. Rajah, the Federal Territory MIC Chairman.
Datuk S. Rajah and his team distributed 10,000 face masks for the public at Jalan Tun Sambanthan (Little India) and Jalan Ipoh yesterday.
“During the second phase, we will continue to provide free masks for the public at other selected areas around Kuala Lumpur such as Masjid India, Leboh Ampang and Sentul Pasar next week,” adds Datuk S. Rajah.
