YBhg Tan Sri Dato’ Sri SA Vigneswaran, President of MIC chaired the Central Working Committee (CWC) Meeting of the Malaysian Indian Congress (MIC) at the party headquarters.
The meeting was not merely procedural, it served as a strategic platform to reaffirm our collective resolve in shaping a forward-looking agenda for the Indian community, especially as we chart our course alongside the national blueprint of the 13th Malaysia Plan (13MP).
Our deliberations focused on long-term structural inclusion, ensuring that key national imperatives such as digital transformation, human capital investment, economic participation, and social equity reflect the realities and aspirations of the Indian community. It is only through informed policy engagement and cohesive planning that sustainable impact can be achieved.
True advocacy is not measured by visibility alone but by the strength of ideas translated into national priorities. That has always been our pursuit to contribute meaningfully within institutional frameworks ensuring our community is not an afterthought, but a stakeholder in Malaysia’s shared future.
In further cultivating a culture of holistic leadership, we also held a health and well-being session for all CWC members, a reminder that those who serve must also be nurtured to lead with clarity, compassion, and resilience.
We remain steadfast not in rhetoric, but in responsibility.
